7th Brigade Muster

The 7th Brigade Muster will be held at Shore Leave Saturday, 10 July 2010 at 1000 hrs in the Derby Room upstairs.
March to Destiny

On Saturday June 26th the Stormeagles will be going to March to Destiny. March to Destiny is a civil war living history which includes weapons demonstrations, candle light walking tours, Victorian ball, Victorian tea, carriage rides, a variety of lectures and more that is held in Shippensburg PA. There will be Military Groups, Sutlers (stores), Civil War Music, Food Vendors and much more. Anyone interested in participating should contact James Hutley on the USS Susquehannock.
Annual Valor Awards!

To the members of the 7th Brigade,
At this time, I am once again taking nomination for the 7th Brigade Valor Awards. This also includes the Youth Valor awards as well. These awards will be given out at the 7th Brigade Muster which will be held at Shore Leave this coming July. For detailed information on each award, you may find them in the SFMC Marine Manual or the SFMC website. (www.sfi-sfmc.org)
The nomination phase will be from 24 March 2010 thru 01 June 2010 at midnight.

Our Brigade Sergeant Major will be the point of contact for all questions and concerns about the Star of Valor Award and their nominations. He can be reached at sgtmajor@7thbdesfmc.com
Should the Brigade Sergeant Major be nominated for the Star of Valor, I will make the decision on who gets the award. Should I be nominated for any of
the other awards, COFORCECOM will be making the decision on who will get that award.
We look forward to reading the nominations from this Brigade and especially handing out the awards during the 7th Brigade Muster at Shore Leave.

Springtime in the Park at Hersheypark

Once again this year the 7th BDE will be going to Hersheypark in Hershey PA for Springtime in the Park at Hersheypark. The date that the BDE will be going on is Saturday April 10, 2010.
